Human Resources Coordinator

We are looking to hire an individual in our Corona office for our Human Resource Coordinator position. As a Human Resource Coordinator, you will be expected to:

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and communicate issues and updates as needed
  • Maintain personnel records and documentation
  • Respond to employee requests by taking calls, researching, and following up
  • Assist with on-boarding, training and leading new employees
  • Perform file audits to ensure all required employee documentation is collected, recorded and up to date
  • Manage HR hiring practices
  • Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, including onboarding, discipline and offboarding
  • Maintain & update HR/ office policies as necessary
  • Organize office operations and procedures
  • Address employees’ requests regarding HR issues
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, clients, and internal staff
  • Work as a point of contact between office sites
  • Perform other duties, responsibilities, and special projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Human Resource Coordinator or similar role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Established communication skills
  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage numerous projects and priorities at once
  • Ability to adapt as business needs transform
  • Capability to work alone or collaborate in a group
  • Possess excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize

A Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) is a plus, but not a requirement.

We are looking to hire individuals in our Corona office for our Office Assistant/File Clerk position. As a Office Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Work with Paralegals and Legal Assistants in order to effectively prepare, manage, and update the case files and notebooks for large Family Law firm.
  • Conduct court runs to file documents and serve documents as needed.
  • Ability to cover for the receptionist, applicants must be comfortable taking multiple calls, using multiple phone lines, and transferring calls.
  • Maintaining office front area, conference rooms and back of the office, as well as prepare conference rooms for client appointments.
  • Assist with filing and other duties as needed

Requirements:

  • Driver's License
  • Clean Driving Record
  • Maintain Current Vehicle Registration and Insurance
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well both independently and in a group setting
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
  • Experience working in a law firm is a plus

As a Legal Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Client management
  • Maintaining client files
  • Screen calls from potential clients
  • Perform initial telephonic conference of potential client
  • Input data from telephonic conferences into tracking system
  • Working with attorneys in drafting and finalizing correspondence
  • Prepare pleadings, legal writing and miscellaneous documents at the direction of the attorney
  • Manage calendars and coordinate meetings, conferences and trainings

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a legal assistant or similar role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Established client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage numerous projects and priorities at once
  • Ability to adapt as needs transform
  • Capability to work alone or collaborate in a group
  • Collaborative/ Mediation experience a plus
  • The candidate will have experience (more than basic familiarity) with Word Perfect, Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Family Law experience is preferred but not required
